Fugue Macabre,  Ghost Dance

Dr. Tabatha Gray didn't have a particular fondness for the dead, but the dead have a desperate affinity for her.

Tabatha Gray has spent her entire life trying to defeat the Gray Legacy of magic. But no matter how hard she fights her powers, they are a constant in her life.
Like her grandfather, Tabatha is a necromancer. She can raise the dead. Just for good measure she's also inherited her father's telekinetic powers. Yet, all she wants to be is normal.
Detective Derek Bainbridge is an embittered New Orleans homicide detective with the unsolved wedding day murder of his bride haunting him. The strain of that old case coupled with the recent

rash of child murders are taking their toll on his soul and his mind.

While visiting the grave of his fiancee, Derek observes Tabatha engaged in necromancy, and what appears to be a corpse raised from the dead. Stunned at what he witnesses, Derek tries to follow her and the woman she's with out of the cemetery, but fails to catch up with them before they drive away. After getting to know Tabatha and her friends Rhonda Meads and Bobbie Luckman, it becomes evident to Derek that there are powers beyond his base comprehension, powers like necromancy, empathy, telekinesis, fire-starting and shape-shifting.
Together Tabatha and Derek learn to love and forgive amid murder, deceit, lies and corruption. What do you have when you mix a necromancer, a fire-starter, a shape-shifter and a New Orleans homicide detective?  In Fugue Macabre: Ghost Dance it adds up to trouble for a secret society calling themselves

Guardians Against Paranormal Sinners.
